How to Create a Credit Note

1: Access Credit Notes

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, select Credit Notes.

  • In the top right-hand corner, click on Actions.

2: Start a New Credit Note

  • From the drop-down menu, select New Credit Note.

3: Fill in Credit Note Details

  • In the pop-up, choose the following options:

    • Project: Select the project that the credit note is for.

    • Agency: Select the agency that the credit note is for.

    • Purchase Order: (if applicable) select the relevant purchase order.

    • Reason: Choose a reason from the options (e.g., parking fine, damages, tolls, other).

4: Add Additional Information

  • Add a comment to the credit note.

  • Input the Invoice Reference.

  • Optionally, include the Assignment Reference.

5: Enter Financial Details

  • Input the Gross Value of the credit note.

  • Tick the box to indicate whether VAT should be applied to the credit note.

6: Review and Create Credit Note

  • Double-check all entered information for accuracy.

  • Click on Create in the bottom right-hand corner of the pop-up to finalise the credit note.
