Open the list
Hirers and agencies can add Region and Sector using the timesheet table column picker. Both columns are unchecked by default and show the current project region and sector. Enabling either column refreshes the list to load its values. Your column selections are saved for subsequent visits.
Use the Timesheets page to review timesheets across the projects, companies, or agencies your role can access. The page opens on Pending unless a tab is supplied in the page URL.
For hirers and agencies using Work by Nutral, opening the timesheets awaiting approval list takes you directly to Require Approval. Your Requidex permissions still determine which records and actions are available.
Hirers and agencies can filter timesheets by region and sector. Select either or both to narrow the list to matching projects; other filters and access restrictions still apply.
By default, the list includes timesheets up to each hiring company's current configured week ending and hides later week endings. When an agency works with multiple hiring companies, this cutoff is evaluated separately for each timesheet's company.
Use status tabs
Pending shows timesheets not yet submitted for approval.
Require Approval shows timesheets waiting for approval, rejection, or recall.
Approved shows approved timesheets and whether an invoice or AfP exists.
Cancelled shows cancelled records and their original values where available.
Absent shows timesheets marked as absent.
Expenses appears when rate access is not restricted or Add expenses permission is enabled in the selected company or agency scope. For rate-restricted hirer and agency users, the list includes expenses within their Add expenses permission scope; pay and charge rates and restricted billing documents remain hidden. Expense exports remain unavailable while rate access is restricted.
Search and filter
Hirers and agencies can choose Approval date under Filter by and select an inclusive UTC date range. This replaces the week-ending selection and cutoff, so late-approved timesheets appear regardless of their week ending. The selected status tab, other filters, and access restrictions still apply. The filter uses the latest stored approval date and excludes timesheets without one. Hirers and agencies can also choose Cancelled date to filter cancelled timesheets by the recorded cancellation timestamp, using an inclusive UTC date range. Timesheets without that timestamp are excluded; select the Cancelled tab to view matching cancellations. Switch back to Week ending to filter by the worked period.
Use search for text-based lookup and filters for structured fields such as company, project, supplier, site, worker, week ending, created date, PO, invoice, and tag. Text searches require at least three characters. Search result pages show whether more results are available without calculating an exact total. For agency users, the company filter is pre-selected with the first available company when no company filter is already applied. Week-ending filter dates follow the hiring company's configured week-ending day for hirers and the selected company's setting for agencies, including when reopening saved filters. Company and project users with tags may get a default tag filter applied automatically.
Hirers and agencies can open More Filters in the Timesheets filter panel to add custom text fields displayed on timesheets. Choose a company first; the button appears when eligible fields are available. Select a field and enter part of its value. The match uses the current value on the timesheet's linked requisition and ignores capitals. Apply saves the chosen controls for your account; Clear removes values while keeping the controls. The same custom-field-only menu is available on the Expenses tab, matching the requisition linked through each expense's timesheet. Existing access restrictions still apply.
Review columns
For hirers and agencies with access to expense values, the Approved Expenses column also shows Pending Expenses on a second line. Pending expenses are shown separately from approved expenses and are not included in Total Charge until approved.
For hirers and agencies, Cancelled Date shows the recorded date and time the timesheet was cancelled. It is blank if no cancellation timestamp is recorded.
The table shows the timesheet reference, worker, company, agency, project, site, week ending, hours or days, charge values, expenses, rates, approval dates, invoice or AfP presence, PO state, and created or cancelled dates. Rate-restricted or billing-restricted users see a reduced set of columns. For hirers and agencies, rate restrictions also apply to timesheets opened from a worker’s profile; hours and days remain visible. For hirers, the invoice indicator also includes linked MSP-to-client invoices. Agencies also see when an MSP-to-client invoice exists, but its reference and details are not shown. A green tick indicates a linked document, not that payment has been made. With MSP dual billing, separate Agency → MSP and MSP → Client columns show a tick for an existing invoice and a cross for a missing invoice. An excluded agency with no downstream invoice shows N/A in Agency → MSP. These columns share the Invoice visibility setting. Standard invoice and AfP rows retain their existing indicator; mixed lists can show it alongside the two MSP columns.
Open a timesheet
Select a row to open the timesheet detail page. Use the quick-view icon on the reference column to inspect a timesheet without leaving the list.
Use bulk mode
Bulk actions switch the table into checkbox mode. Select one or more eligible rows, then confirm the action at the bottom of the page. Rows can be disabled when the user lacks permission, the PO is invalid, the timesheet is invoiced, or the current workflow state does not support the action.
When bulk request approval is submitted, each eligible approver receives one in-app notification for the bulk action, even when the selected timesheets span multiple projects they can approve. For both hirers and agencies, hidden rates do not change selection eligibility: requesting approval or approving still requires a positive combined charge and expense value. The same selection rules apply when filters are active.
Manage table preferences
Column visibility and column order can be adjusted from the page header. For hirers and agencies, these choices are saved to your account and restored when you log back in. The page also preserves search, filters, selected data, and pagination state when navigating into a timesheet and back through breadcrumbs.
For agencies: using the list
If you work for an agency, the Timesheets page lists timesheets for your own workers on companies and projects your agency has access to. Use it to keep on top of where each worker-week is in the pay and charge cycle.
The company filter is pre-selected with your first available company, and you can switch between the companies you work with.
Use the status tabs to see what is still pending, awaiting the hiring company's approval, approved, absent, or cancelled.
Rate, charge, and invoice columns can be hidden by access control, so your view may show fewer columns than a hiring-company user.
Bulk actions are limited to what your agency is permitted to do, such as requesting approval or recalling where allowed.
