Open an assignment
Use the Assignments page to review assignment records across the projects and agencies you can access. For hirers and agencies, the Status column shows each assignment status as a labelled chip. Select a row or use the reference link to open the assignment detail page. Use the quick-view icon to review the assignment without fully navigating away.
Search and filters
Use search for assignment references, worker names, and other searchable assignment data. The filter panel can narrow the list by company, project, cost code, tag, site, region, sector, agency, trade, date range, purchase order, status, rate type, and date filter type. Available filters depend on your role. For agency users, the company filter is pre-selected with the first available company when no company filter is already applied.
For hirers and agencies, opening a filtered assignment list from Home Needs attention starts on the first page with that item's filters and no previous search. Clear the search to refresh the results without a search term, or clear the filters to remove the Home item's restrictions. Returning from an assignment detail page restores your saved list position, search and filters.
Hirers and agencies can use the outlined More Filters button at the bottom left of the filter panel to choose which filters are shown. Use the menu checkboxes to toggle Requestor, Approver or a custom text field, such as Job/Monitor Ref, for the selected company. These extra filters are hidden by default. The searchable Requestor dropdown lists each person who has raised a requisition for the selected company once, across all statuses, dates and projects. Names appear above job titles and email addresses. Select one or more people to filter by their user records. The Approver dropdown uses the same name, job title and email layout and lists distinct company approvers from requisitions and assignments. On requisitions it matches assigned or recorded approvers; on assignments it matches the assignment approver. Custom text filters match part of the field value, ignoring capitals. Apply saves your chosen filters to your account separately for Requisitions and Assignments. Uncheck a filter in More Filters to remove its control and clear its value, then select Apply; Clear removes filter values while keeping your chosen controls. Existing access restrictions still apply. Assignment custom field filters use the current value on the linked requisition and are available for fields displayed on assignments.
The accommodation column and filters use the company’s configured accommodation label, falling back to WRA Accommodation. Hirers can add the accommodation filter from More Filters when accommodation is enabled for the company or at least one project, then select Yes or No. This option is not available to agency users. This filter is hidden by default; Apply remembers whether it is shown, and unchecking it clears its value. Yes matches assignments with accommodation enabled; No includes assignments where accommodation is disabled or has not been set.
Columns
The table supports column hiding and reordering. For hirers and agencies, column visibility and order are saved to your account and restored when you log back in. Rate and billing columns are hidden when your access control settings restrict rates or billing.
Value and charge rate are only shown when rate access is available.
Purchase order is hidden when billing access is restricted.
Company is shown for agency and MSP views.
SDC, SDS, and KID columns appear when the company requires those supplier actions. For agency views, they can also appear when any accessible connected client requires them.
WRA Accommodation is hidden by default and is available in the column selector only to hirers when accommodation is enabled for the company or at least one project. Agency users do not see this column option. Hirers can show it using the column selector; a checkmark means accommodation is enabled and a cross means it is disabled or has not been set.
List actions
For hirers and agencies, applying or clearing filters keeps the assignment actions available for your permissions and company settings. When Export XLS is the only available action, it appears as a button at the top right. With active filters, Export filtered results is also available. It becomes the primary button after manually changing a table filter. Preset filters such as user tags or teams do not trigger this switch; clearing manual filters restores the usual action.
Create Assignment appears when you have assignment creation permission.
Import Assignments appears for company admins with assignment creation permission and lets them upload standard direct assignments from the assignment import template.
Export XLS is available from the actions menu or as a button when it is the only available action.
Change End Dates appears for permitted company admin or MSP users when timesheet import is enabled.
Quick view
Use the quick-view icon on any row to open the assignment slideout panel without leaving the list. The slideout also opens from related records elsewhere in the platform, for example from the requisition slideout, the timesheet slideout, schedule views, credit notes, and the worker assignments table. The worker assignments table shows the same labelled assignment status chips.
Tabs in the slideout are Overview, Worker, Activity, and Comments.
Overview shows the source or replacement requisition, dates, project, site, agency, accommodation, lodge address, and PO when present.
Worker shows the worker name, contact details, address, rate/pay type, and umbrella company when set.
Worker detail and rates are hidden when access control restricts them.
Open Full View navigates to the assignment detail page; reference links inside the slideout open related records.
The slideout side and position are remembered per user, and the panel can be dragged to a new position.
